Coming to the end of this process has made me realize two things. 1) Endings can be painful, whether good or bad. When the credits roll up on the screen of a good movie and we wish those beloved characters goodbye there is, at least for me, a sense of loss. After going on such an amazing journey with these characters we must wish them well and go our separate ways. But this brings me to my second point...2) Endings mark new beginnings. Life is not like a movie. As people, we will face countless endings in our lives, whether they be the completion of a project, loss of a close relationship, or completing a long sought after goal. Whether good or bad, we will face endings, but these endings only open up gateways to new stories full of even more intrigue. I am not saying that the pain of a bad ending is any less real. The heartbreak and agony we are forced to face in our every day lives is foreboding. But despite this, we carry on towards bigger and better things. Behind each ending is a new beginning. Never forget, no matter who you are or where you've been, you have a unique story. When facing an ending there is only one thing we can do; Push towards a new beginning.
